Capote (2005)
Da forfatteren og journalisten Truman Capote læser om mordene på en hel familie i Kansas, beslutter han at skrive en roman med udgangspunkt i begivenheden. Med Koldt Blod som er baseret på Truman Capotes bestseller, er en nervepirrende sand historie om et koldblodigt mord. En velhavende og velanset gårdejer, hans kone og hans to teenagebørn bliver koldblodigt og brutalt myrdet i Kansas. Morderne er to hensynsløse tidligere straffede Perry Smith og Dick Hickock. Historien afdækker forbrydernes tankegange og følger de to morderes formålsløse eskapader fra deres start i Mexico op gennem USA på flugt fra lovens lange arm til den dramatiske slutning i Kansas. Capote (2005)

The powerful true story of a callous murder, based upon the best-selling novel by Truman Capote. A prosperous and respected Kansas farmer, his wife and his two teenage children are wantonly and brutally slaughtered. The murderers are two mindless ex-convict drifters; Perry Smith (Robert Blake) and Dick Hickock (Scott Wilson). Neither of the men are sane enough to regret their crime. The story penetrates the inner workings of the criminal minds as it follows their purposeless meandering through Mexico and the United States in evasion of the law and finally to the dramatic end of their journey. |
