Thriller in which a group of teenagers attempt to convince the authorities that one of the most respected figures in their town, played by Dennis Quaid, is actually an unhinged killer. In his years acting as the town's mortician, Ely (Quaid) has built a reputation as one of its most upstanding citizens. However, Travis (Tony Oller) is convinced that Ely's interest in death and corpses extends well beyond his professional life and is determined to prove, with the help of friends including Abby (Aimee Teegarden), that the mortician is a killer. This will be no easy task since Travis is known in the town as a troubled kid with a wild imagination. Moreover, if Ely really is a serial murderer, will Travis and Abby be able to remain out of his clutches long enough to gather the proof they require? |
